Want more Passion (Self-acceptance, Genuine Alignment) in Your Life?

Get curious…

How’s your self-confidence?

Look in the mirror and say, “I love and accept myself as I am now.”

What comes up when you do?

Are you able to smile…feel a sense of genuine alignment, and self-acceptance? If yes, celebrate and keep honoring you! Woot, Woot!

Do you squirm and quickly look away? Does your inner critic start yelling or whispering negative comments? Do you start criticizing something about yourself?

What if you could change the negative perspective/messages, would you?

Try these 3 daily actions - they can add up to a huge shift in your self-acceptance and confidence:

 1) Gratitude. A regular gratitude practice can boost happiness by 25%! List 3-5 things you are grateful for and how come. Include something about yourself in that list.

2) Writing and speaking “I AM” statements (I AM Enough, I AM Worthy, etc). Tune in to your inner critic…curiously and nonjudgmentally notice the negative beliefs it is shouting. Now write the opposite.

Then stand in a superhero power pose (feet slightly apart, standing up straight, with your hands on your hips) and say the I AM statements out loud and/or in front of a mirror.

I AM statements are a powerful way of speaking and feeling our truth and are so empowering. Doing this practice daily helps rewire our brain to see the positive and a more accurate reality, vs what our inner critic is repeating from our past.

3) Acting As If. You are shifting your feelings and thoughts through action. Our beliefs influence our thoughts, which generate feelings, and then typically we act/react.

Ask yourself: What quality would you like more of? What would you notice? How would you feel? How would you think? What would you do? Then act like you have it, are it, be it. What is one small action you can take, today?

Now Do It. There is a constant feedback loop between thoughts, feelings, and actions. We can shift the negative loop of our inner critic through mindfulness and/or action.

If you want more passion (self-acceptance, genuine alignment with who you are, and confidence) then try these 3 actions to feel more self-confident and happier in your life!
